Big congratulations are in order for Mithila Palkar! The talented Little Things actress has a new home in Mumbai. She recently shared a peek into her 700-square-foot space, designed by her close friend, principal designer Rutuja Tulsulkar from Studio Bloom (@studiobloom.in).

In an interview with Architectural Digest India, Palkar explained, “When I decided to get my own place, I wanted it filled with natural light. I envisioned windows, white walls, a rust-colored sofa, plywood, and colors that would open up the space without making it feel cramped, creating a sense of freedom.”

She went on to say, “I’m so happy I was able to incorporate all these elements into my dream home, thanks to my best friend and designer, Rutuja. She beautifully brought everything together in a way that perfectly matched my vision.”

Palkar also revealed that she and Tulsulkar have been best friends for over a decade. “Since Rutuja started studying design, I knew she’d be the one to design my first home,” Palkar shared. “It was a huge risk, working together professionally, but if anything, it’s only brought us closer.”

Tulsulkar, too, mentioned that she wanted to capture Palkar’s “warm and kind personality” in the design, without any filters.

The video showcasing the bright, minimalistic white aesthetic of the living room, bedroom, and kitchen has garnered praise online. Fans have been expressing their admiration for Palkar’s peaceful space, with one user commenting, “Such a peaceful space!” and another adding, “Love how you’ve come a long way from staying with your grandparents to this beautiful home! Very inspiring.”

Others have shared their love for the cozy, aesthetic vibe, with one saying, “Love the aesthetic! So cozy!”
